MKCW have been introducing the joys of Creative Writing to young writers all over Ireland for several years.
We provide focussed, carefully designed courses to ensure children find their creative writing session a vey enjoyable part of their week, while they also learn key aspects of creative practice at an age where their learning capacity is very high.

The introduction of Creative Writing to young people is an outstanding benefit to their development. Children never forget their first creative writing classes and the joy and craft of this area is something they will remember all their lives.
While our courses are enjoyed by all children of every background and capability, the availability of creative writing in an aftershool or school is particularly important for children who may not have an interest or physical capability to participate in other activities such as sports or craft-based extra-curricular events.
MKCW course programmes and events for children & young people are designed by Dr Martin Keaveney and his senior team and delivered by our panel of outstanding associate tutors.

Child Safety
MKCW take the protection of every child extremely seriously. All of tutors are highly experienced and fully trained in delivering our courses.
